Charter
The NQA Subcommittee on International Activities (ScIA) and its associated International Working Groups (IWG) engages international stakeholders and performs outreach activities associated with the NQA Committee, NQA-1 Standard, and the concept of IWGs abroad. ScIA interfaces with all NQA subcommittees to provide expertise in the international implementation and interpretation of the NQA-1 Standard.

The ScIA provides technical expertise as requested by the Board of Nuclear Codes and Standards (BNCS).

The ScIA interfaces with international organizations to maintain awareness of trends in the international nuclear industry beneficial to NQA-1 requirements, guidance, and derivative products and its implementation.

Reporting Structure
The ScIA reports to the NQA Standards Committee. Leadership of the Subcommittee participates on the NQA Standards Executive Committee and membership of the Subcommittee participates in various cross-Subcommittee activities as assigned by the NQA Standards or Executive Committees. The IWGs report to the ScIA.

NQA-1 Standards, Derivative Products, and Administrative Document Responsibilities
The Subcommittee on International Activities (ScIA) is responsible for the development and maintenance of the following NQA-1 parts, derivate products, and NQA administrative documents such as:

SP 4.1.4 ,   Guidance for Modification of an IAEA GS-R-3 Quality Program to NQA-1-2009 Requirements and Modification of an NQA-1a-2009 Quality Program to Meet IAEA GS-R-3 Requirements
SP 4.1.6,   Guidance to Modification of an NQA-1–2019 Quality Program to Meet IAEA GSR Part 2 (2016) Management System Requirements
