Charter
The German BPV XI International Working Group serves as a forum to provide for the participation of German speaking BPV Section XI technical experts and to create a means of communication and collaboration between ASME Section XI, the German Nuclear Safety Standards Commission (KTA), all stakeholders and technical experts in German speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) as well as from other European countries. The German BPV XI International Working Group will: • review and comment on proposed changes or additions to the BPV XI Code, • initiate and process proposed standards actions for the BPV XI Code, • conduct activities in German speaking countries related to codes and standards, administrative and personnel matters in accordance with approved ASME procedures, policies, and established guidelines • facilitate discussion of ASME standards issues and experiences among local stakeholders • contribute to development and local stakeholder comprehension of the standard to improve the usability and acceptance of the standard • coordinate German BPV XI International Working Group activities with the parent BPV XI Executive Committee and ASME Staff.
