To manage the development, review, and maintenance of design methods and associated requirements to verify pressure or structural integrity of components using the design by analysis approach for design conditions, operating conditions designated as Service Levels A through D and test conditions. The design methods for graphite and composite materials include consideration of time dependent material creep. The Subgroup provides oversight of assigned Working Groups and review and approval of Code changes proposed by these Working Groups. This responsibility may span multiple divisions and subsections of Section III. Guidelines related to the design considerations for specific service environments will also be developed and maintained.
