Charter
To oversee and coordinate the activities of all of the Design Groups that are under BPV III. The Subcommittee Design will take approval votes on any action that involves or invokes new design criteria or methodology, deviates from current design criteria or methodology, changes design margins, or on other actions when requested by the responsible design group. The Subcommittee Design will review and comment on significant technical actions proposed by the design groups. The Subcommittee Design will establish general long-range goals and objectives for the collective design groups and provide input into the specific goals and objectives of each group. Subcommittee Design will also monitor the interfaces between the design service committees reporting to it and the design book committees that report to standards committees other than BPV III.
