Charter

The Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) Subcommittee for Program Management Process (ScPMP) is responsible for the following: maintenance, development, revision, and interpretation of quality assurance requirements, guidance, and glossary of terms related to the development and application of quality program and management processes associated with: 1. the siting, design, construction, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. 2. ensuring universal to effective quality assurance programs that deliver consistent results. 3. training of staff performing quality activities, including inspection, test, and auditing. 4. identification and control of procedures, instructions, documents and records that support the quality program. The ScPMP provides technical expertise as requested by the Board of Nuclear Codes and Standards (BNCS). The ScPMP interfaces with other standard development organizations (e.g., ISO) and industry organizations to maintain awareness of industry quality program and management trends beneficial to NQA-1 requirements, guidance, and derivative products. 


Reporting Structure
The ScPMP reports to the NQA Standards Committee. Leadership of the Subcommittee participates on the NQA Standards Executive Committee. Membership of the Subcommittee participates in various cross-Subcommittee activities as assigned by the NQA Standards or Executive Committees.
